BY STUDIO SUSS | Sep 2018
Studio Suss is delighted to have been hand-picked to create one of this years’ displays in the much-lauded entranceway at Decorex 2018.
Our display answers the question that we were given “ What path did you take to reach where you are today?” The answer is…
Whilst reading International Management at Manchester University and UMASS in the USA I helped promote The Haçienda, the iconic nightclub, leading the world in music’s transition into dance culture but also its use of graphic design and branding.
My early career spanned working with and advising blue chip brands across print, the internet, an interactive TV games channel and lastly interactive gaming at Sky.
I have always had a passion for design so whilst on maternity leave, I retrained as an interior designer firstly at St Martins, Chelsea College of Art and finally at Inchbald.
After I designed and built our family home I founded my design practice Studio Suss and have worked with talented developers, fashion designers, brand owners and fabulous families to always make their space their own.
I am a proud supporter of the British Fashion Council Fashion Trust, a Patron of The Royal Academy of Arts and continue to take inspiration from travel, nature, music, fashion and art.
Additionally, Simone has been asked to speak at Decorex on Monday 17th September at 1pm on the subject of Bespoke Interiors: how to guarantee original design for every project
